**CHROMADEPTH 3D GLASSES ARE NEEDED TO GET THE 3D EFFECT**

Some more minor updates. I started implementing an attack system. It is FAR from complete as there are no animations to go with it but you can now kill the pygmy's by pressing the x key to shoot things. I also changed the title screen because it was driving me nuts and I hated the old one. Haha. I tweaked the jumping a bit as well so you can not jump quite as high as last time. You were able to make too many of the jumps that you weren't supposed to in the last version. Not sure if that will make the game feel any slower but hopefully not. Other than that there really isn't much new with this release. Just thought I would share it with everyone so I can get some feedback on the new title screen and the tweaked controls. I am in the process of creating more enemies and tiles and that is why things have slowed down a bit lately but that should change soon.

As always, please let me know what you guys think of it so far.

CONTROLS:

Arrow keys - Movement

Z key - Jumping

X key - Throw rocks

Well made so far. The graphics instantly reminded me off the British »ZX Spectrum«. I wanna play ... definitely! :)

Hey, every nice demo so far! The game feels much better compared to the old prototype, and the wall-sliding makes quite a bit more sense. My only suggestion at this point concerning the controls would be to reverse the direction rocks are thrown while sliding. At this point, it feels a bit odd to have them be thrown towards the wall while you slide. Another thing would be to fix hitting your head on blocks...doesn't feel quite natural, as it's more of a horizontal brake than a "bump".

Oh ho ho, and I see you trying to fit Belle and Pastorale in there hoping nobody would recognize where they're from! A high priority for you in the future would be to cook up some of your own music. FamiTracker's a bit hard for beginners, so a retro soundfont in OpenMPT would be your best bet.

I'm glad you like the improvements so far. I am starting to think that the controls are going to be continuously tweaked up to the very end of the project. Haha. I didn't even try shooting while wall sliding so that is good to know. The head bumping thing is also something I am still sorting out. :)

I already mentioned in an earlier post where the music was from and that it would not be in the final version. :D But that is the style I will be aiming for. Just thought it would be nice to have something in there for now. It also helps me keep a more realistic view of what the actual file size will be when completed.
